You may be experiencing problems if you are not using the specific Control Lab Interface icons.
To use Control Lab with RoboLab, go to Inventor 4 in RoboLab. From the
functions palette, select Control Lab Interface. This new palette
displays all of the controls that can be used with RoboLab and Control
Lab. It is very important that you replace the Begin icon in
Investigator (green traffic light) with the Begin Control Lab icon in
the Control Lab Interface Palette.
Also, be sure to wire the number of the port on the machine that
Control Lab is connected to to the port number in the upper left of
the Begin Control Lab icon. For more information on this, select Show
Context Help from the menu and then move your cursor over the Begin
Control Lab icon.
