Can I use the LEGO USB Camera on a Mac?

Yes!

A group of open-source developers created a program called macam (http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/), which provides support for USB web cameras in Mac OS X - hence, the LEGO USB camera can now be used in RoboLab 2.5 and higher on the MAC platform (OS 10 and higher)

The workaround for this problem (RoboLab 2.5.0, 2.5.1. and 2.5.2) is as follows:

1. Close RoboLab
2. Download and install the most current version of macam from http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/downloads.html
3. Restart your computer, and the camera should be ready to go!


Note: This is an unoffical workaround to the lack of camera drivers for the Mac. Neither LEGO nor the macam group can provide support.
